Pettuleipä Finnish PINE BARK Bread Recipe | HARD TIMES – recipes from times of hardship

Pettuleipä or pine bark bread was made in Finland during times of famine when the inner bark of pine trees would be harvested, dried, and ground into flour and added to bread recipes to stretch out precious flour.
